Hei!
Vi er en familie på fem som bor i Dalsbygd i Volda på Sunnmøre. Jørn har laget noen nettsider om vikingskip og grindbygg som etterhvert er mye besøkt. Ellers står det litt her om hvordan vi bruker naturen mellom fjorder, tinder og breer gjennom de ulike årstidene.
Vi drar gjerne på ferie av og til. Vi har lagt ut noen bilder og tips fra ferie i Terracina i Italia med bl.a. bilder fra Pompeii og Roma, og to tidligere turer til New York.

Den 29. juli 2006 var det slektstemne på Dravlaus i Dalsfjorden. Jørn var fotograf av gruppebildene. Bildene er lagt ut her>>.
Ellers er sidene våre aldri helt oppdaterte... får ikke tid til det.

Hi!
We are a family of five living in Volda in western Norway. Jørn has made a section on viking ships which are still growing. We also write a little about how we use the nature in our area, such as skiing the Jostedal glacier, a hike on the Briksdal glacier and deer hunting.
In May 2003 we went on vacation to Terracina in Italy and we have presented some photos here.

On Dec. 30th 2009 it was 10 years since we uploaded the first bytes to our homepage server. The first pages were confusing, lacking direction and was mostly an experiment to learn about cyberspace. Little has changed technically ever since. The images are better, but the tech behind is still the same; Jørn is still writing in Frontpage express. Maybe it's time to do something about it. Convert to php or some other system to make the site appear more consistent. But the content has improved, with the subpage about wooden boats growing into a website of its own: www.vikingskip.com

Jørn's book project is still in progress. The book is by June 2016 copyedited and adapted to Chigaco Manual of Style. Thousands of changes have been made since last fall.
